Checking the System

Use the web setup tool on the control PC to check the operation of the robotic camera system and complete the

necessary setup. For details about the web setup tool, refer to the CR-G100 instruction manual.

Additionally, if you plan to use the Camera Remote application CR-A100 (sold separately), run the application and test

the system’s operation before the final installation. Refer to Connection/Installation Checklist (A 50).

Main Points to Check and Configure

 Homing procedure after turning on the system

 Registering connected devices (main capture camera and lens, eyepiece camera, wide view camera, etc.)

 Use the Robotic Camera Head Settings menu to select the lens used after the first installation and whenever you

replace the lens

 Pan / tilt / roll / zoom operations and setting their motion range limits

 Checking images taken with the main capture camera

 Remote operation of the camera (shooting settings, shutter releasing and data transfers)

 Physical position of switches on the camera and lens, camera menu settings (A 19)

 Switching to underslung mode if you plan to install the camera head in underslung position

 Setting the IP controller to READY status

 When using the Camera Remote application CR-A100 Operation using the Camera Remote application

 Checking the image of the wide view and eyepiece cameras and making the dioptric adjustment of the main

capture camera

 Testing specific functions of the Camera Remote application

 Checking images recorded to the card in the main capture camera

 Checking images transferred to the FTP server

 Homing procedure before turning off the system
